I felt it necessary to explain the pictures that the press has released so that they
were accurately explained and not just given the blanket explanation of another
picture of prisoner abuse.  I will get them up as I find them released.
The blood from a Syrian terrorist who admitted in testimony that he traveled to Iraq to kill American
soldiers with IED's.  This terrorist was given a pistol by our co-worker, an Iraqi Corrections Officer
(ICO), who turned out to be a former Saddam Loyalist (Fedayeen).  This turned out to be true of
many of the ICO's who worked among us. No wonder the prisoners ended up with so many shanks,
razor blades, and other weapons that they used to attack us and each other with.

This Syrian insurgent shot and hit one MP and only gave up once he ran out of rounds.  We were
forced to use up all of our less than lethal rounds that did not even knock him down while this
detainee shot with lives rounds.  He was only wounded him in the legs in attempts to protect
ourselves, the other detainees, and him as well.  There were medics on the scene who attended the
detainee right away.
This detainee arrived with wounds all over
his body that were discovered up him
being strip searched.  This medical
condition was documented to show his
condition on arrival.  If this was done to
him, it had to be before his arrival at Abu
Ghraib; he did not mention the origins of
his wounds at the time.
This Saudi General was brought to the prison still struggling with
MP's from the riot in which he participated.  In using escalating
force, guards followed the 1 and only page we were given on
Rules of Engagement.  In the process of being subdued, a prior
cut on this detainees face opened up and he received another cut
on his chin.  Use of force was halted when the detainee stopped
acting with hostile intent.  He was given stitches as well.  But his
throat was
never cut at any point and he was eventually sent back
to Saudi Arabia.
